Truck Driver – Independent Contractor: 2NT Services is looking to hire independent contractors as delivery drivers.

We are currently seeking:
(1) Area Coordinator/full time driver (7 days a week)
(5) Full time drivers (5-7 days a week)
(3) Part time drivers (3-5 days a week)

(“Job titles” above are all considered “Independent Contractors” as of employment status)

Contractors will earn anywhere from $50 - $150 daily and will be trained before the official start date on the use of applications needed to work, daily logs, and communication standards.

As drivers, you will be contracted to deliver goods consisting of freight generally delivered to US Post Offices roughly within 20 – 160 miles.

The freight is palletized and delivery methods consists of dock to dock loading and unloading requiring the usage of pallet jacks.

Official start date of work will begin August 16 and all contractors must have applications, background checks, Social Security Cards (allowed to work in the US) and driver’s license current and valid.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Load and unload freight from truck-warehouse-US Post Offices
• Complete daily logs and inspection of equipment
• Communicate with Management any and all issues
• Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that the vehicle is maintained properly
• Operate equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Properly scan all labels during loading and unloading of freight

• Experience in operating Straight Trucks (24 – 26 foot box trucks)
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred (for Area Coordinator)
• Veterans Preference will be honored
• Medically qualified with DOT physical (Preferred, may be required on a future date)
• Contractor will subject various climatic conditions while working outdoors.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Smartphone (with reliable service – ATT, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile) to scan labels and communicate with the dispatch/management
• Smartphone applications will be required and utilized while making deliveries
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. CDL not required.
