Responsibilities: The position primarily serves as a USNAVSO/FOURTHFLT representative for providing support for Information Assurance and Network Engineering. Specifically, the Contractor shall: Provide Lead IA Systems Administrator and Network Engineering support to NAVSO/C4F. Provide Network Engineer services from the designated IA office during normal work hours of 0730-1630. Per DoD guidance, operate, secure, maintain, and repair network infrastructure such as switches, hubs, routers, and firewalls, among other network devices. Networks could include DoD C41 Systems, JWICS, CENTRIXS, and additional networks per operational requirements. Primarily serves as a NAVSO/C4F Lead Systems Administrator and secondarily as a network engineer. Provide system administrator support as required for C4I systems including but not limited to ENMS Lite, DCGS-N Increment 1 Block 2 (SIPR and JWICS), ADSI v15, GCCS-J 4.3 U1, Radiant Mercury (RADMERC) and Video Teleconference (VTC) Systems. Perform scans, patch, document, and submit reports per DoD Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense guidelines. Create applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required. Design network architectures per applicable DoD guidance. Coordinate and document changes to network configuration and topology. Install and maintain software and hardware, control current versions and future releases of applications software, and document the physical configuration of information systems. Optimize the functionality of networks and systems and diagnose and recover failed systems. Install, configure, test, and implement vendor supplied modifications to existing systems software while applying and implementing applicable Federal network security standards. Help maintain accountability of IT equipment assigned to the NAVSO/C4F. Advise and assist customers; troubleshoot complex problems; and provide support in a manner that minimizes interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities. Design, engineer and install network infrastructure; engineer and implement equipment reallocations; provide PC maintenance and IT hardware maintenance; provide interim system communications assistance. Experience with MS VISIO, ACAS scanning software, WIRESHARK network sniffing tool. Experience with VMware virtual servers and workstations (ESX 5.5/6.0). Education: Candidate(s) must have the following minimum experience and certifications: Minimum 8 years' experience in Information IA technology or related area. Must maintain appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certifications for operating systems they support. Must be a United States Citizen to support this government contract, possess and maintain a current TOP-SECRET SCI level security clearance. In accordance with DoD 8570.01 and DoDD 8140.01 "Cyberspace Workforce Management"; Candidate must meet the Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III requirements by having one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM OR GSLC.
